 There are seven good primary schools in the area. Cnoc Ainbhil, Lorcan Kilmacud, Oatlands, St. Brigid’s, St. Raphela’s, Mt Anville national school and Scoil San Treasa. There are four secondary schools, which include Oatlands College, St. Benildus, Mt Anville and St. Raphela’s. Stillorgan College of Further Education offers third level education. 

There are many casual food and drink options located in the shopping centre & in the village. Popular eateries include Riba, Ribs & Wings, Monsoon Stillorgan, and Narra Thai & Asian Restaurant.

The Leopardstown Inn is a long-standing gastropub, and a favourite with local residents and racing fans. They serve good quality food and drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

O’ Dwyers Bar and Restaurant offers a casual dining experience in the gastropub and a more formal dining in their restaurant. A great spot for a good drink and excellent food.

 There is a Tesco Superstore & Donnybrook Fair at Stillorgan Village Shopping Centre and a Lidl across the road in The Plaza. In Stillorgan Industrial Park you will also find an Aldi, Dunnes Stores and Supervalu.
